With his focus on architectural and themed attraction lighting, Asher brings his unique perspective and valuable experience to projects of any scale.

Ava Bender

Miami Studio

Ava brings technical experience lighting live shows together with her passion for human-centered research to craft emotive designs that energize and ground the experience of a space. Accompanying her work in live entertainment, Ava received Bachelors of Art History and Anthropology from the University of Florida and is pursuing UF's graduate program for Themed Environments Integration.

Kai Mosvold

West Hollywood Studio

Kai is a lighting designer with a background in theater and a passion for shaping emotional experiences through light.

Trained at CalArts in both theatrical and architectural lighting design, he brings a strong narrative sensibility to high-end hospitality and placemaking projects.

Nick Diaz

West Hollywood Studio

Nick’s lighting experience spans a decade in luxury residential, and high-end hospitality spaces.

He uses his theatrical mentality paired with architectural sophistication to bring drama and energy to a space, creating memorable experiences for guests around the world.

Erin Giblin

Filament Controls Studio

Erin Giblin is a Los Angeles based lighting controls consultant specializing in large and complex projects. Over the last 13 years she has worked as an integrator, manufacturer, and consultant in the architectural, themed entertainment, live entertainment, and cinema markets.

During her time at ETC she worked closely with themed entertainment clients in Southern California on new attractions as well as R&D facilities, hospitality, and back of house. In addition to this work, she also works as a diagnostic and troubleshooting technician, and as an educator and trainer across disciplines and markets.

Her specialties include wireless controls, color mixing and control, and complex networking signal mitigation. Her favorite projects include the Tilikum Crossing in Portland, OR, CitiField in Flushing, NY, and the NYU Scorsese Institute of Global Cinematic Arts in Brooklyn, NY.

Eugene Mendelev

Filament Controls Studio

Eugene designs and builds lighting systems for museums, themed attractions, and architainment projects around the world. In addition to creating unique custom solutions to technical challenges to deliver clean and dramatically impactful aesthetics, he enjoys above all closely collaborating with creative teams to help design and build spaces that tell stories. He especially loves helping realize lighting projects on the job site where the rubber of design hits the road of installation, focus, and programming.

His background as a designer, installation manager, and programmer, as well as in
theatre consulting and specification have helped him successfully design, coordinate,
and integrate a variety of temporary and permanent infrastructure, lighting, and media
installations for over twenty-five years.

Eugene is a Theatre Design graduate of the University of Victoria, and member of IATSE Local 118 as well as ADC659, the Associated Designers of Canada. His design-build museum and themed attraction projects have been recognized by the TEA, LIT, IES, and Live Design.
